Welcome to the Project page of Personal Academic Website for All, an initiative by GMRafi Web to provide a professional online presence to students. This project aims to empower students to showcase their achievements, experiences, and aspirations through personalized academic websites.
What is a personal academic website:
A personal academic website is a dedicated online platform created by individuals, typically students or academics, to showcase their academic achievements, research projects, professional experiences, and personal interests. These websites serve as comprehensive portfolios, providing visitors with insights into the individual's educational background, skills, accomplishments, and goals. They often include sections such as an about me page, resume/CV, academic projects, publications, contact information, and links to professional profiles like LinkedIn.
Why This Initiative:
As a student, I understand the importance of having a strong online presence in today's digital age. A personal website serves as a powerful tool for networking, and personal branding. By offering this initiative, I hope to empower each student to take control of their online presence and unlock new opportunities in their academic and professional journey.
Cost of Initiative:
BDT 3500/ USD 35 per website.
But, this initiative is completely free of charge for selected candidates.
(NB: This Charge does not include any TLD like .com in both cases.)
Criteria for Participation:
Stage 1: (March-April)
Currently a student at the Army Institute of Business Administration (Army IBA), Sylhet.
Attended a school or college associated with Bangladesh Armed Forces Associated Institutes for at least 5 years. (e.g., Cantonment Public School or College, Cadet College, Cantonment Board School or College, BAF Shaheen College, Bangladesh Navy School or College).
Must have a well-maintained and comprehensive LinkedIn profile.
Must have an updated CV/resume (Pdf).
Stage 2: (April-May)
Currently a student at the Army Institute of Business Administration (Army IBA), Sylhet.
Attended any school and college in Bangladesh.
Must have a well-maintained and comprehensive LinkedIn profile.
Must have an updated CV/resume (PDF).
Stage 3+4: (Upcoming)
Currently a university undergraduate student in Bangladesh.
Attended a school or college associated with Bangladesh Armed Forces Associated Institutes for at least 5 years. (e.g., Cantonment Public School or College, Cadet College, Cantonment Board School or College, BAF Shaheen College, Bangladesh Navy School or College). (Stage 3)
Attended any school and college in Bangladesh. (Stage 4)
Must have a well-maintained and comprehensive LinkedIn profile (PDF).
Must have an updated CV/resume.
Note:
The initiative of creating the website is entirely free for selected Students .
A well-maintained and comprehensive LinkedIn profile, and an updated resume, play an important role in the selection process.

GMRafi holds complete authority over the selection process and project execution
After delivering the website, there are some important points to note:
Platform: The personal academic websites will be created using Google Sites.
Domain Management: The website domain is entirely managed by you. You can use a free web link (like sites.google.com/view/name) or a TLD (like .com). It totally depends on you. (We will not provide any domains/TLDs like .com).
Content Updates: You are responsible for updating your information on the website by yourself. It's easy to learn how to do this from YouTube tutorials, especially for Google Sites websites.
